Vicki L. Schuelein

Vicki Lynn Schuelein, age 86, of Enid, Oklahoma passed on to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 20. 2026. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, September 25, 2026 at the Lamont First Christian Church with Pastor Jeff McReynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Lamont Cemetery under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, Oklahoma.

Vicki was born October 19, 1939, to Walter John and Virginia Cowen. She graduated from Lamont High School in 1957 where she met the love of her life, Stanley Schuelein. They were married on May 25, 1958 and to this union they added two children; son Kirk and Melody Schuelein, of Lamont, as well as their children and grandchildren, Alicia and Steve Cowherd, of Pond Creek, Koby, Teagan and Haizlie, Sierra and Craig Regier, of Deer Creek, Camri, Kendall and Easton, Summer and Dusty McClure, of Morrison, Sawyer, Luxx and Rydge, Kolton and Kaylee Schuelein of Lamont, Kinlee and Kase, daughter Kris and Roscoe Grimes of Pond Creek and their children and grandchildren; Tyler and Jennifer Grimes, of Kremlin, Clara and Jake, Taylor and Cody Claflin, of Sheldon, MO, Cade and Cameron, Trent and Kayla Grimes of Pond Creek, Keaton and baby.

Stanley and Vicki began their married life in Lamont where they enjoyed a multitude of opportunities and challenges in their 51 years of marriage. When the family moved to the farm in 1966, she became the truck driver for wheat harvest along with meal duty and still running the Peppermint Pad. She even drove the truck in multiple states when we took the show on the road custom cutting along with her dad. In the late 80’s she worked hard to obtain her license to sell insurance to help with the family finances where she enjoyed all the clients and interactions while helping people meet their insurance needs. Vicki was a member of the First Christian Church of Lamont where she taught Sunday school, bible study, sang in the choir and later lead the choir, still driving back to Lamont on Sundays for church. She moved to Enid after Stanley’s passing, having her independence living on her own and driving were important to her, while following all the many activities of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing canasta and having bible study with some old and new friends in Enid.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Virginia, sisters SuEllen and Janice, and a grandchild Emily. Vicki will be laid to rest next to Stanley in the Lamont Cemetery follow the services.

Memorial contributions in Vicki’s name may be made to the Lamont Ministerial Alliance with Wilson Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
