Lucas Eugene Shaffer

 Lucas Eugene Shaffer, 64, was born January 8, 1960, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Enid, OK to Jack LaRue and Louise Roberts Shaffer. Lucas passed away at O.U. Medical Center October 5, 2024. 

 Lucas married Annette James and to this union Tony Lee Shaffer was born; He married Janet Taylor and together they had one son Brian. Luke served two years in the U.S. Army.

 Luke worked for farmers and did odd jobs. He loved to work on vehicles. He also loved to hunt with his dad.

 Luke is survived by his mother, Louise Shaffer; two sons, Tony Shaffer and Brian Shaffer; twin sisters; Martha Jean Walls and Mary Jane Hagermann of Pond Creek and one brother, Samuel L. Shaffer, Jefferson, OK. Lots of other relatives.

 Luke was preceded in death by his father Jack LaRue Shaffer, Feb 2021.

 There will be a visitation Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 6:00-7:30 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, OK. Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Pond Creek Cemetery, officiated by Roger Shire.
