Don was born March 27, 1935, in Hawley, Oklahoma to Hazel (Barwick) and Claude Pendergraft, and passed away September 14, 2022 in Enid, Oklahoma.
Done grew up in Pond Creek and after graduating from high school in 1951, he joined the Army, where he served 5 years including a tour in Japan. He worked for Polacek Mill, Cummings Construction, and in his later years, he loved to meet up with his coffee buddies at Grand Ave. Cafe for breakfast.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Eugene, Leroy and Kenneth, and two sisters; Janice Fay Pendergraft and Betty Ward.
He is survived by two sons; Donald Pendergraft and wife Judy, Grove, Oklahoma and Jeffrey Pendergraft, Purvis, Mississippi. Two Daughters; Melissa and husband Robert Jones, Joplin, Missouri, and Jessica Pendergraft, Ringwood, Oklahoma. 12 grandchildren, Elizabeth Rose Sullivan and husband Hunter, Michael Ray Pendergraft, Justin Lee Pendergraft, Johnathon Claude Pendergraft, Josiah Alexander Jones and wife Dawn, Gabriel Corban Lee Jones, Meagan Bailee Stuart, Joseph Scott Stuart, Callie Elizabeth Stewart and Ethan Cart Stuart, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews: three sisters; Lois Carson, Joann Richardson, Claudean Wilson and husband Jerry, all from Enid, Oklahoma, and one brother, James Pendergraft, Hunter, OK.
